Editing Formatting an Image q Find the Edges With the image type set to 8-bit grayscale or 24-bit color, apply one of the edges special effects to an image to accentuate object outlines. There are four effects: thin, thick, horizontal and vertical. Original Thin Thick Horizontal Procedures Click the [Effect] menu and select [Edges]. The edges window will display. Vertical Sample Window Displays the edges samples Edges Sample Selection Button Click the [Edges Option Selection] button and select an effect from the pull-down menu. The image will appear with the effect applied in the sample window. Click the [OK] button to accept the effect. The edges of the image will be accentuated as shown in the sample in the Edges window. 91

Find the Edges
With the image type set to 8-bit grayscale or 24-bit color, apply one of the edges
special effects to an image to accentuate object outlines. There are four effects:
thin, thick, horizontal and vertical.
Procedures
Click the [Effect] menu and select [Edges].
The edges window will display.
Click the [Edges Option Selection] button and select an effect from
the pull-down menu.
The image will appear with the effect applied in the sample window.
Click the [OK] button to accept the effect.
The edges of the image will be accentuated as shown in the sample in the
Edges window.
