Printing Without a Computer Using the Optional Image Viewer The optional Canon Image Viewer (CV-100) allows you to display JPEG image data stored on the inserted memory card and check the print layout of the first page. Switching the Viewer Display On/Off To switching the viewer display on: 1. After attaching the viewer to the printer, turn on the printer. 2. Insert the memory card containing saved JPEG data into the card slot. The first data that was saved to the memory card is displayed on the viewer. When Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) is selected, the photos are displayed chronologically. To switch the viewer display off: If none of the keys on the Operation Panel are touched for approximately five minutes, the viewer display goes into sleep mode automatically. To exit sleep mode, simply perform any operation on the panel. The viewer display turns off under the following conditions: • The printer is turned off. • A digital camera that supports direct printing is connected. • The memory card is ejected. 32

Switching the Viewer Display On/Off
