Appendix Power Supply Never attempt to plug the power cord into a power outlet when your hands are wet. To avoid electric shock, make sure that your hands are dry. • Always push the plug completely into the power outlet. A loose or poorly connected plug could cause a fire or electric shock. Never cut, modify, stretch, bend, or twist the power cord, and never place heavy objects on the power cord. A power leak from a damaged power cord could cause a fire or electric shock. Never plug the printer power cord into a power outlet (power board, double adapter, etc.) that is shared by other devices or office equipment.
