Figure 8-9 ACL Access List (Edit) Window After clicking the Edit button, the fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Start Sequence No. Step Counter State Remark Description Enter the start sequence number here. Enter the sequence number step here. The step range is from 1 to 32. This specifies the number that the sequence numbers step. The default value is 10. For example, if the increment (step) value is 5 and the beginning sequence number is 20, the subsequent sequence numbers are 25, 30, 35, 40, and so on. Select to enable or disable the counter state option here. Enter an optional remark that will be associated with this ACL here. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. After clicking the Add ACL button, the following page will appear. Options to choose from are Standard IP ACL, Extended IP ACL, Standard IPv6 ACL, Extended IPv6 ACL, and Extended MAC ACL. Enter the ID for the ACL here. • For a Standard IP ACL, the range from 1 to 1999. • For an Extended IP ACL, the range from 2000 to 3999. 164
