DGS-1250 Series Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Source File Destination File Description Click the Browse button and navigate to the firmware file on the local PC here. This file will be uploaded to the Switch. Select the destination where the firmware file will be saved on the Switch here. Options to choose from are Image 1 and Image 2. Click the Upgrade button to initiate the firmware upgrade. Firmware Upgrade from TFTP This window is used to initiate a firmware upgrade from a TFTP server. To view the following window, click Tools > Firmware Upgrade & Backup > Firmware Upgrade from TFTP, as shown below: Figure 13-3 Firmware Upgrade from TFTP Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter TFTP Server IP Source File Destination File Description Select and enter the IP address of the TFTP server here. • IPv4 - Specifies to select and enter the IPv4 address of the TFTP server. • IPv6 - Specifies to select and enter the IPv6 address of the TFTP server. Enter the filename and path of the firmware file on the TFTP server here. This will be uploaded to the Switch. This field can be up to 64 characters long. Select the destination where the firmware file will be saved on the Switch here. Options to choose from are Image 1 and Image 2. Click the Upgrade button to initiate the firmware upgrade. Firmware Backup to HTTP This window is used to initiate a firmware backup to a local PC using HTTP. To view the following window, click Tools > Firmware Upgrade & Backup > Firmware Backup to HTTP, as shown below: Figure 13-4 Firmware Backup to HTTP Window 248
