DGS-3630 Series Layer 3 Stackable Managed Switch Web UI Reference Guide Two identical Switches running on the same firmware version must be used to create the MLAG peer connection. The following settings must be identical on MLAG peer switches to prevent instability: Link Aggregation, MLAG Portchannel, Interface, and VLAN settings. MLAG peer switches must be stand-alone switches with the physical stacking feature disabled. MLAG Settings This window is used to display and configure the MLAG settings. The MLAG settings must be configured on the Switch before connecting to another MLAG peer Switch. The configuration only takes effect after the Switch was rebooted. All switches in the group must run the same MLAG version. To view the following window, click L2 Features > MLAG > MLAG Settings, as shown below: Figure 5-66 MLAG Settings (Disabled) Window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter MLAG State Description Select to enable or disable the MLAG function here.
