Configure the same hellointerval for all routers on a specific network. A shorter Hello Interval ensures faster detection of topological changes but generates more routing traffic and might cause routing instability. Select the Default option to use the default value which is 10 seconds. Enter the Dead Interval time value here. The range is from 1 to 65535 seconds. The Dead Interval is the amount of time that the router waits to receive an OSPF hello packet from the neighbor before declaring the neighbor down. This value is advertised in the router's hello packets. It must be the same for all routers on a specific network. Specifying a smaller Dead Interval ensures faster detection of topology changes, but might cause routing instability. Select the Default option to use the default value which is 40 seconds.
