Baud Rate The baud rates can be manually changed to any of the following values: • 2400 • 4800 • 9600 • 19,200 • 38,400 • 57,600 • 115,200 NOTE: The default baud rate is 9600. NOTE: Closing the device does not return the default baud rate. It must be specifically configured. NOTE: In order to enter configuration mode, you must specify administrative level 15 privileges. The following is an example configuration for changing the default baud rate using CLI commands: console> enable console# configure console(config)# line console console(config-line)# speed 9600 console(config-if)# exit console(config)# exit Terminal Connection Configuration The PowerConnect 3324/3348 requires the following Terminal Connection parameters for configuration: • no parity • one stop bit • 8 data bits Configuring the PowerConnect 3324/3348 Switch 45
