router ospf 100 log-adjacency-changes OSPFv2 commands area default-cost Sets the metric for the summary default route generated by the ABR and sends it to the stub area. Use the area default-cost command on the border routers at the edge of a stub area. Syntax Parameters area area-id default-cost cost • area-id - Enter the OSPF area in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D.) or enter a number (0 to 65535). • cost - Enter a cost for the stub area's advertised external route metric (0 to 65535). Default Command Mode Usage Information Example Cost is 1 ROUTER-OSPF The cost is also referred as reference-bandwidth or bandwidth. The no version of this command resets the value to the default. OS10(conf-router-ospf-10)# area 10.10.1.5 default-cost 10 Supported Releases 10.2.0E or later area nssa Defines an area as a NSSA. Syntax Parameters area area-id nssa [default-information-originate | no-redistribution | nosummary] • area-id - Enter the OSPF area ID as an IP address (A.B.C.D) or number (1 to 65535). • no-redistribution - (Optional) Prevents the redistribute command from distributing routes into the NSSA. Use no-redistribution command only in an NSSA ABR. • no-summary - (Optional) Ensures that no summary LSAs are sent into the NSSA. Default Command Mode Usage Information Example Not configured ROUTER-OSPF The no version of this command deletes an NSSA.
