Setting up the host computer running Windows 2000 1. Click the Start button, click Settings, and then click Printers. 2. In the printer list, right-click the icon for the product you want to share, and then click Sharing. 3. On the Sharing tab, click Share As, and then type a name for the product in the Share Name text box. Click OK. Setting up the host computer running Windows XP 1. On the Start menu, click Printers and Faxes. 2. In the printer list, right-click the icon for the product you want to share, and then click Sharing. 3. On the Sharing tab, click Share this printer, and then type a name for the product in the Share Name text box. Click OK. 4. Click the Ports tab. Clear the Enable bidirectional support check box, and then click OK. Setting up client computers running Windows 2000 1. Click the Start menu, click Settings, and then click Printers. 2. Double-click the Add Printer icon to open the Add Printer Wizard. 3. Click the Next button to start the wizard. 4. Click Network Printer, and then click the Next button. 5. Type in the path and share name of the product to which you want to connect. -orClick the Browse button and navigate to find the product to which you want to connect. Click the Next button. 6. Select either Yes or No when asked if you want to use this product as your default printer for Windows-based programs, and then click the Next button. 7. Click the Finish button to complete the installation and close the Add Printer Wizard. NOTE: You might need to use the product software CD to complete the printer driver installations. Setting up client computers running Windows XP 1. On the Start menu, click Printers and Faxes. 2. On the left-hand column, under Printer Tasks, click Add a printer to open the Add Printer Wizard. 3. Click the Next button to start the wizard. 4. Click A network printer or a printer attached to another computer, and then click the Next button. 5.
