Chapter 6 - Troubleshooting Exclamation Point Appears With Console Icon If any device in your EasyADC system develops a problem that requires attention, a red or yellow exclamation point blinks next to the Console icon (which is displayed in the Windows System Tray, in the lower right corner of the desktop, when the Console is running). Icon Description The Console icon indicates that all devices in the EasyADC system are configured and operating normally. The blinking red exclamation point next to the Console icon indicates that at least one device that was communicating with the Console is no longer communicating. Go to the Discovered Devices folder to determine which device needs attention. For help, see "Monitoring Your Devices" on page 63. The blinking yellow exclamation point next to the Console icon indicates that at least one device is not operating and requires attention. Go to the Discovered Devices folder to determine which device needs attention. For help, see "Monitoring Your Devices" on page 63. Activating Additional CK30 Registrations EasyADC is automatically installed to allow up to two concurrent users access to the system through CK30s and one remote terminal session (for training purposes). To provide for more concurrent users, you must obtain a valid registration code for each additional user from Intermec. After you receive the registration codes, you can activate them using the Registration option on the Data Collection Manager Setup menu. To activate additional registrations 1 From the DCM main menu, choose Setup > Registration. The Registration dialog box appears: 100 EasyADC System User's Manual
