Enabling the Monitoring and Email Notification Logs The Console lets you enable two logs to track all changes in device status for all devices in the EasyADC system; the logs capture events such as each time a CK30 roams out of range and each time a printer runs out of media. The logs serve different purposes: • Monitoring Log lists all the changes in device status for all devices. • Email Notification Log lists all the email sent to notify you of changes in device status. (You must first enable email notification, as described in the previous section.) The logs capture a huge volume of minute details about the EasyADC system that may be overwhelming on a day-to-day basis. Typically, you enable these logs only when troubleshooting. To enable the Monitoring and Email Notification logs 1 Right-click the Console icon in the Windows system tray. 2 Choose Configure > EasyADC Console from the menu.
