Chapter 5 - Setting Preferences Verifying Counts Before Great Plains allows a Stock Count to be fully processed, all counts must be "verified." This means that the verified check box must be checked, even for items with a quantity of zero. Since you would not normally scan a zero quantity using the CK30, EasyADC has provided a few alternatives to verify the zero counts (check the verified check box): • The first option is to use the Verify Physical Count utility on the Utilities menu of the host machine. Use this utility to mark all the uncounted (quantity 0) items verified. • The second option is to verify the counts from the CK30 by pressing F1. This performs the exact same function but without the need to access the host machine. This functionality can be enabled/disabled with the Allow Verify Counts for GP PI parameter (described in the previous section). If this parameter is disabled, the option will not be accessible from the CK30. Item Cross Reference The XREF transaction is used to populate the EasyADC cross reference table. This transaction does not update anything in Great Plains, but does validate item numbers and unit of measure schedules. To set preferences for item cross reference 1 From the DCM main screen, choose Setup > Modules. 2 Select the Transaction Settings tab. 86 EasyADC System User's Manual
