Chapter 2 - Using the CK30 Handheld Computers Using Special Keys in CK30 Menus Special Key c F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 F7 Description Press c to return to the last logical screen. If you are on the first screen of an option (such as sales order fulfillment) pressing c returns you to the Main Menu. Press this key when you are done with your current data entry routine. For example, the F1 option appears after receiving items in Receiving. Pressing F1 means that you are done receiving a PO and are ready to update Great Plains. When saving transactions to a batch, F1 functions as a Save operation. Otherwise, F1 posts directly to Great Plains. Press this key to return to your previous transaction after performing an inquiry. "F2=R" appears in Miscellaneous Issue > Receipt and Item Transfer transactions when you can use this key for Review Mode, where you can examine the line items entered or scanned in detail. Once in Review Mode, you can delete specific line items (see F4). Press this key to return the terminal session to the Main Menu. All current transactions are aborted. A warning message appears, asking if you are sure you want to exit the current transaction. Any info that has not been updated to Great Plains already will be lost "F4=DELETE" appears when you can use this key to delete previously keyed information. "F4=L" appears in Miscellaneous Issue > Receipt and Item Transfer transactions when you can use this key to display the Last Item Scanned. "F4=DETAIL" appears in Review Mode (see F2) when you can use this key to display details for a line item. Pressing F4 again deletes the line item. This key has different uses depending on the transaction you are working with. In some cases, F5 switches between a quantity of 1 or multiple quantity mode. F5 also lets you enable automatic label printing. This requires templates, which are described in "Designing Labels" on page 46. (If you do not want to enable automatic label printing, you can use Label Shop to design and print labels; for help, see "Using LabelShop PRO" on page 51.) This key is used as a shortcut to an Item Inquiry. Prompts on the CK30 indicate when this key is available. EasyADC System User's Manual 11
