Chapter 3 - Using the Data Collection Manager Starting the Data Collection Manager There are two ways to start the Data Collection Manager on the dedicated EasyADC PC: • From the Windows Start menu, choose Programs > Intermec > EasyADC > Data Collection Manager. Or • Double click the Data Collection Manager icon on your desktop. Using the EasyADC Label Manager Use EasyADC Label Manager to print bar code labels for your Great Plains inventory. With Label Manager you can print labels from the PCbased sub-module. You can launch the Label Manager sub-module from the EasyADC Modules menu or from the Programs group. Label Manager can produce Purchase order labels, shipping labels, miscellaneous internal labels, vendor item labels and badges. EasyADC Label Manager is designed for use with the Intermec EasyCoder PM4i printer. Use the Label Configuration screen to set up the PM4i and default label files to print. On each tab of the Label Manager is a text box that displays the default label file name and can be temporarily overwritten with another label name if desired. If you use a temporary label, it is replaced by the default label the next time you open Label Manager. Label Manager is typically run from a workstation, but you must install it on the host PC if you want to print labels from the CK30s. Starting the Data Collection Manager

Using the EasyADC Label Manager
Use EasyADC Label Manager to print bar code labels for your Great
