Appendix A - Conducting a Physical Inventory Verifying Zero Counts with Data Collection Manager While reviewing the counted information, you may find that there are many items for which no quantity was counted, and the Verified check box remains unchecked. Great Plains will not allow a Stock Count to be processed until ALL items are marked as verified. EasyADC provides two different methods of automatically flagging those items as Verified, depending on how the Data Collection Manager has been configured for Physical Inventory. To check the Physical Inventory settings in EasyADC, go to Setup > Modules > Physical Inventory, and a screen similar to the one shown below will be displayed. If the Allow Verify Counts for GP PI check box is checked, as shown above, then CK30 users see the F1=VERIFY COUNTS option on their screens during the transaction. In this case, a user can simply go back into the Stock Count ID and press F1 to mark all items with zero counted quantitiy as verified. An alternate method is to run the Verify Physical Count option from the EasyADC Data Collection Manager Utilities menu, as shown below. To use this utility, select the appropriate Stock Count ID and Location/Site combination from the drop down boxes, and then click Verify Zero Counts. EasyADC System User's Manual 117
