GS108T and GS110TP Smart Switch Software Administration Manual Access Profile Configuration Use the Access Profile Configuration page to configure settings that control management access to the switch. Access profile configuration requires three steps: 1. Use the Access Profile Configuration page to create an access profile. To add rules to the profile, the access profile must be deactivated, which is the default setting. 2. Use the Access Rule Configuration page to add one or more access rules to the profile. 3. Return to the Access Profile Configuration page to activate the profile. To access the Access Profile Configuration page, click Security  Access, and then click the Access Control  Access Profile Configuration link. To configure an Access Profile: 1. In the Access Profile Name field, specify the name of the access profile to be added. The maximum length is 32 characters. 2. To activate an access profile, select the Activate Profile check box. You cannot add rules to an active profile. 3. To deactivate an access profile, select the Deactivate Profile check box. 4. To remove an access profile, select the Remove Profile check box. The access profile should be deactivated before removing the access profile. 5. Click Cancel to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to the latest value of the switch. 6. Access Profile Configuration
Use the Access Profile Configuration page to configure settings that control management
access to the switch. Access profile configuration requires three steps:
1.
Use the Access Profile Configuration page to create an access profile. To add rules to
the profile, the access profile must be deactivated, which is the default setting.
2.
Use the Access Rule Configuration page to add one or more access rules to the profile.
3.
Return to the Access Profile Configuration page to activate the profile.
To access the Access Profile Configuration page, click
Security
Access, and then click the
Access Control
Access Profile Configuration link.
To configure an Access Profile:

In the
Access Profile Name
