140 Chapter 5: Exporting PDFs If you don't have access to the source files that created an Adobe PDF, you can still copy images and text from the PDF to use elsewhere, or export the PDF to a reusable format. You can also export images in a PDF to another format. Quickstart Following are overview steps to some common conversion tasks. Export as Word If you don't have the original file from which a PDF was created, you can save the PDF as a Word document that you can then edit in Word. 1 Click Export in the Tasks toolbar, and then choose Word Document. 2 Click Settings to set conversion options. Note: When you save a PDF to Word format, the resulting file isn't equivalent to a file created in Word; some coding information may be lost.
