However, opening a telnet connection from the Active RPM into the Standby RPM requires local authentication. Configuring an ACL on a VTY line will block a Telnet session using the telnet-peer-rpm command in the standby to active RPM direction only. Such an ACL will not block an internal Telnet session in the active RPM to standby RPM direction. telnet-peer-stack-unit Open a Telnet connection to the peer stack unit.
