bgp dampening c et s Enable MBGP route dampening. Syntax bgp dampening [half-life time] [route-map map-name] To disable route dampening, use the no bgp dampening [half-life time] [route-map map-name] command. Parameters half-life time route-map map-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the number of minutes after which the Penalty is decreased. After the router assigns a Penalty of 1024 to a route, the Penalty is decreased by half, after the half-life period expires. Range: 1 to 45. Default: 15 minutes (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword route-map followed by the name of a configured route map. Only match commands in the configured route map are supported. Defaults Disabled.
