Command Example Descriptions: show ip ospf process-id database router Item LS Seq Number Checksum Length Number of Links Link connected to: (Link ID) (Link Data) Number of TOS Metric TOS 0 Metric Description Displays the link state sequence number. This number detects duplicate or old LSAs. Displays the Fletcher checksum of an LSA's complete contents. Displays the length in bytes of the LSA. Displays the number of active links to the type of router (Area Border Router or AS Boundary Router) listed in the previous line. Identifies the type of network to which the router is connected. Identifies the link type and address. Identifies the router interface address. Lists the number of TOS metrics. Lists the number of TOS 0 metrics. Related Commands show ip ospf database Displays OSPF database information. show ip ospf database summary c e s Display the network summary (type 3) LSA routing information. Syntax show ip ospf process-id database summary [link-state-id] [adv-router ip-address] Parameters process-id link-state-id adv-router ip-address Enter the OSPF Process ID to show a specific process. If no Process ID is entered, command applies only to the first OSPF process. (OPTIONAL) Specify LSA ID in dotted decimal format. The LSA ID value depends on the LSA type, and it can be one of the following: • the network's IP address for Type 3 LSAs or Type 5 LSAs • the router's OSPF router ID for Type 1 LSAs or Type 4 LSAs • the default destination (0.0.0.0) for Type 5 LSAs (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords adv-router ip-address to display only the LSA information about that router.
