If the heat sink does not have thermal grease on the bottom of it, apply thermal grease to cover the area where the heat sink will touch the processor. 9. Set the heat sink on the processor, aligning the four screws in the heat sink with the screw holes in the main board. 10. Use a long Phillips screwdriver to turn each screw one full turn. Continue to tighten the screws approximately one full turn at a time until each is evenly tightened. Do not fully tighten one screw at a time. 11. Install the processor air baffle.
