Appendix Glossary Auto Low-Power Mode A mode designed to conserve electricity, activated when the copier is left unused for a specific period. In Low-Power mode, the copier consumes less power than in standby mode. Auto Sleep Mode A mode designed for electrical power saving, activated when the copier is left unused for a specific period. In Sleep mode, power consumption is kept to a minimum. CPM (copy per minutes) The number of A4-sized copies (printouts) that can be delivered in one minute. dpi (dots per inch) A unit for resolution, representing the number of dots printed per inch (25.4 mm). EcoPrint Mode A copying mode that helps conserve toner. Copies made in this mode are thus lighter than normal. MP Tray The paper supply tray on the right side of the copier. Use this tray instead of the cassettes when copying onto envelopes, postcards, transparencies, or labels. Appendix-16
