5060-00x 202 Paper jam Step 1 Action and questions Remove the fuser from the printer. Remove the oiler housing from the fuser, and pivot the paper guide up. Is media jammed inside the fuser? 2 Check fuser exit sensor flag. Does flag rotate freely and return to normal position when released? Go to step 3 Replace the fuser. See "Fuser assembly removal" on page 4-31. Replace the fuser. See "Fuser assembly removal" on page 4-31. Yes Clear the jam from the fuser. No Go to step 2 3 Check that the diverter gates in the fuser rotate freely. Go to step 4 Do the diverter gates rotate freely? 4 Reinstall the fuser and perform the "BASE SENSOR TEST" on page 3-29 for the fuser exit sensor. Note: Use a spring hook to actuate the flag. Does the fuser exit sensor pass? Got to step 5 Perform the following in order: 1. Reseat the connector J10 on the engine board. 2. Replace the fuser. See "Fuser assembly removal" on page 4-31. 3. Replace the LVPS. See "Low voltage power supply (LVPS) removal" on page 4-38. 4. Replace the engine board. See "Engine board removal" on page 4-29. Go to step 6 Replace the redrive door.
