Date and Time Adjust the date and time as follows. zzChoose [Date/Time] on the [ 2] tab, and then press the [ ] button. zzPress the [ ][ ] buttons to choose an option, and then adjust the setting, either by pressing the [ ][ ] buttons or turning the [ ] dial. Lens Retraction Timing The lens is normally retracted for safety about one minute after you press the [ ] button in Shooting mode (=26). To have the lens retracted immediately after you press the [ ] button, set the retraction timing to [0 sec.]. zzChoose [Lens Retraction] on the [ 2] tab, and then choose [0 sec.]. Display Language Change the display language as needed. zzChoose [Language ] on the [ 3] tab, and then press the [ ] button. zzPress the buttons or turn the [ ] dial to choose a language, and then press the [ ] button. ●● You can also access the [Language] screen in Playback mode by pressing and holding the [ ] button and immediately pressing the [ ] button. Silencing Camera Operations Silence camera sounds and movies as follows. zzChoose [Mute] on the [ 3] tab, and then choose [On]. ●● Operation can also be silenced by holding down the [ ] button as you turn the camera on. ●● Sound is not played during movies (=105) if you mute camera sounds.
