Confirming Input and Returning to the Previous Screen zzPress the [ ] button. ●● The on-screen keyboard is not available while the viewfinder (=28) is in use. ●● For some functions, [ ] is not displayed and cannot be used. ●● Another way to use the keyboard is by pressing the buttons or turning the [ ] dial to select characters or icons, and then pressing the [ ] button. You can also move the cursor by turning the [ ] dial. To return to the previous screen, press the [ ] button. Indicator Display The indicator on the back of the camera (=4) lights up or blinks depending on the camera status. Color Green Orange Indicator Status Blinking On Camera Status Starting up, recording/reading/transmitting images, shooting long exposures (=96, =97), connected to a computer (=177), connecting/transmitting via Wi-Fi, or display off (=27, =161, =162) Charging via USB ●● When the indicator blinks green, never turn the camera off, open the memory card/battery cover, or shake or jolt the camera, which may corrupt images or damage the camera or memory card.
