German Ergonomics Notice The Compaq have been evaluated and found to comply with the requirements of ZH 1/618, 1980. The computers were evaluated using MS-DOS Version 3.31 or higher, BASICA/T, and the EGA_THIN.CPI character set, as published by Compaq. In order to meet the minimum contrast requirements of ZH 1/618 when used in a negative polarity mode to display light characters on a dark background, the character colors red and blue should be used in the high intensity/bright color mode. Positive polarity displays (dark characters on a light background) do not meet the background reflection requirements of ZH 1/618. Airline Travel Notice Use of electronic equipment aboard commercial aircraft is at the discretion of the airline. Battery Notice ! WARNING: Your computer is provided with a Lithium battery-powered Real-Time Clock circuit. There is a danger of explosion and risk of personal injury if the battery is incorrectly replaced or not handled properly. Do not attempt to recharge the battery, disassemble it, immerse it in water, or dispose of it in fire.
