Max Quality prints take longer. Did you specify the right media type when loading the media? For details of front-panel media types, see Physical Characteristics of Media Types. To find out the printer's current media type setting see Roll/Sheet Media Information. If you have Enhanced resolution set to On this could slow the printer down. Are you using the printer with the Appletalk serial port on Macintosh? It is normal for the Appletalk port to be slow. Consider using the Ethertalk interface to connect your printer to your Macintosh. Did you specify a Manual Dry Time in the front- panel. Change the dry time to Automatic see Drying Time Settings.
