1 PANEL DESCRIPTION @3 RF GAIN CONTROL [RF] (outer control; p. 3-9) Adjusts the RF gain level. While rotating the RF gain control, you may hear noise. This comes from the DSP unit and does not indicate a malfunction. Sensitivity increases Sensitivity decreases @4 NOISE BLANKER SWITCH NB (p. 5-16) ➥ Switches the noise blanker ON and OFF when pushed. The noise blanker reduces pulse-type noise such as that generated by automobile ignition systems. This function cannot be used in FM mode, or on non-pulse-type noise. • The [NB] indicator above this switch lights green while the function is activated. ➥ Enters blanking-width set mode when pushed and held for 1 sec. @5 DRIVE GAIN CONTROL [DRIVE] (p. 3-13) Adjusts the transmitter level at the driver stage.
