METER Indicates the RF output power in watts. Po METER Indicates the VSWR on the transmission SWR line. METER ALC Indicates the ALC level. The ALC circuit begins to activate when the RF output power reaches a preset level. METER Indicates the compression level when COMP the speech compressor is in use. METER Indicates the drain current of the final ID amplifier MOSFETs. METER Indicates the drain terminal voltage of VD the final amplifier MOSFETs. D Multi-function digital meter METER P-HOLD F-1 "P-HOLD" indicator The IC-7700 can display the multi-function digital meter on the LCD display. This meter displays all transmit parameters simultaneously. q Push and hold [METER] for 1 sec. to turn the multifunction digital meter ON. w Push [P-HOLD] F-1 to toggle the peak level hold function ON. • " P-HOLD " appears on the window title when the peak level hold function is ON. e Push and hold [METER] for 1 sec., or push EXIT/SET to turn the multi-function digital meter OFF. 3-10
