USING ADOBE PREMIERE PRO 190 Editing sequences and clips In Premiere Pro CS5.5 and later, the names of the commands have been renamed to match the common industry nomenclature, from "Roll Previous/Next Edit to CTI" to "Extend Previous/Next Edit to the Playhead". The extend edit commands are also in the Sequence menu by default. Assign keyboard shortcuts for rolling edit commands in Premiere Pro CS5 1 Select Edit > Keyboard Customization. 2 In the Keyboard Customization dialog box, select Premiere Pro Factory Defaults in the Set menu. 3 Select Application in the type menu. 4 Scroll down the list of commands to Roll Previous Edit to CTI, and Roll Next Edit to CTI 5 Set keyboard commands for Roll Previous Edit to CTI, and Roll Next Edit to CTI. Note:
If there is not enough media to extend to the CTI, Premiere Pro extends the clip to the end of the available media.
