Item EMBEDDED JETDIRECT MENU Values TCP/IP IPX/SPX APPLETALK DLC/LLC SECURE WEB DIAGNOSTICS Explanation TCP/IP: Select whether the TCP/IP protocol stack is enabled or disabled. You can set several TCP/IP parameters. Select the TCP/IP CONFIGURE METHOD to configure the EIO card. For the MANUAL option, set the values for IP ADDRESS , SUBNET MASK , LOCAL GATEWAY, and DEFAULT GATEWAY. IPX/SPX: Select whether the IPX/SPX protocol stack (in Novell NetWare networks, for example) is enabled or disabled. APPLETALK: Enable or disable an AppleTalk network. DLC/LLC: Select whether the DLC/LLC protocol stack is enabled or disabled. SECURE WEB: Specify whether the embedded Web server accepts communications by using only secure HTTP (HTTPS) or by using both HTTP and HTTPS. DIAGNOSTICS: Provides tests to help diagnose network hardware or TCP/IP network connection problems.
