8. Connect the opposite end of the cable to the RXE Management A (in) Port on the remote I/O enclosure. The RXE Management Port cabling is the same for a server with two SMP Expansion Modules. 9. Repeat steps 7 on page 137 and 8 for the second server. 10. Connect all remaining external cables to the server; then, go to "Creating a scalable partition" on page 141 and follow the instructions for creating a scalable partition. 16-way configuration Complete the following steps to connect an IBM RXE-100 Remote Expansion Enclosure to a 16-way system. 1.
