Service Processor message FRU/action Fan # Outside Recommended Speed 1. Verify that fan is fully seated by lifting the fan out of the system and looking for any interference around the fan. 2. Reinstall the fan and wait a approximately 10 seconds for the fan LED to turn off. 3. Verify that fan intake areas are clear and well-ventilated. 4. Fan. 5. If failing fan is a SMP Module fan, look for damage to the fan cable connected to the I/O Board. 6. I/O Board. Fan x Failure 1.
