Center plane LEDs Force power-on The power switch can be bypassed (force power-on) by turning off the server, disconnecting it from the power source, and placing a jumper block between the pins of J37 on the center plane. Center plane replacement Complete the following steps to remove the center plane. Note: v Read "Installation guidelines" on page 79. v Read the safety notices at "Safety notices (multilingual translations)" on page 260. v Read "Handling static-sensitive devices" on page 80. 1. Turn off the server (see "Turning off the server" on page 10) and disconnect all power cords and external cables. 2. Remove the PCI brick from the server (see "PCI brick" on page 158) and place it on a clean work surface.
