Attention: To avoid damage to the Ethernet connector on the Remote Supervisor Adapter, do not connect the ASM Interconnect module to the Ethernet port. 1. Connect one end of a Category 3 or Category 5 Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the Remote Supervisor Adapter. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the network. 2. Check the Ethernet LEDs to ensure that the network connection is working. The following illustration shows the location of the LEDs.
