Wi-Fi Status Indicators The following icons show your Wi-Fi connection status at a glance: - Wi-Fi is connected and active. - Wi-Fi active but there is a communication issue with the target Wireless Access Point (WAP). Using the Wi-Fi Settings Menu The Wi-Fi settings - Advanced menu allows you to set up many of your device's Wi-Fi service, including: ⅷ Setting your Wi-Fi sleep policy ⅷ Viewing your device's MAC Address ⅷ Configuring use of either a DHCP or Static IP To access the Wi-Fi Settings menu: 1. Press > > > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi settings. 2. Press and tap Advanced. 4G Services Understanding 4G and 3G Coverage 4G is a service that must be included in your service plan and also available within your area. 4G coverage is currently available in only certain markets. For more details on 4G availability go to: www.sprint.com/4G and click the See the coverage map link from the bottom of the page. Note: If 4G service is not included in your service plan, the 4G icon will not appear in the Notifications area. Note: 4G is up to 10x faster than 3G (based on download speed comparison of 3G's ~600 kbps vs. 4G's ~ 6 Mbps). (Actual speeds may vary.) Using the Wi-Fi Settings Menu
