5000 Series Layer 2/3 Managed Data Center Switch CLI Reference Guide The no command is used to disable the ability of the router to advertise itself to the bootstrap router (BSR) as a PIM candidate rendezvous point (RP). Note: Only when the PIM-SM is configured as the PIM mode will this command take effect. ipv6 pim rp-candidate interface {slot/port | vlan 1-4093} group-address group-mask [interval interval] no ipv6 pim rp-candidate interface {slot/port | vlan 1-4093} group-address group-mask Parameters slot/port vlan group-address group-mask interval interval The IP address associated with this interface type and number is advertised as a candidate RP address. This interface must be enabled with PIM. Indicates an interface in VLAN format (1-4093). The multicast group address that is advertised in association with the RP address. The multicast group prefix that is advertised in association with the RP address. (Optional) Indicates the RP candidate advertisement interval. The range is from 1 to 16383 seconds. The default value is 60 seconds. Default The default is Disabled. Command Mode Global Config Example The following are examples of the command.
