5000 Series Layer 2/3 Managed Data Center Switch CLI Reference Guide Parameters common unique Default This default is common. Command Mode Global Config (Optional) Indicates that the same session-id is used for all AAA Service types. (Optional) Indicates that a unique session-id is used for all AAA Service types. 4-58 password (AAA IAS User configuration) This command is used to specify a password for a given user in the IAS database. The optional parameter encrypted is provided in order to indicate that the password assigned to the command is already pre encrypted. The no command is used to clear the password for a given user. password [encrypted] no password Parameters password encrypted Indicates the password for this level (8-64 characters in length). (Optional) Indicates that the encrypted password is to be entered, with that password being copied from another switch configuration. Default The default is None.
