5000 Series Layer 2/3 Managed Data Center Switch CLI Reference Guide By using the disable option, prefix-suppression can be disabled at the interface level. This option is useful if the user wants to exclude specific interfaces from performing prefix-suppression in the event that the feature is enabled globally. Please note that using the disable option is not the same as not configuring the interface specific prefixsuppression. In the event that prefix-suppression is not configured at the interface level, then the global prefix-suppression configuration will be applicable for the IPv6 prefixes associated with the interface. The no command removes any prefix-suppression configurations at the interface level. In other words, if the no ipv6 ospf prefix-suppression command is utilized, then global prefix-suppression applies to the interface. Please note that not configuring the command is not the same as disabling interface level prefix-suppression. ipv6 ospf prefix-suppression [disable] no ipv6 ospf prefix-suppression Parameters disable Default Not configured.
