Figure 25-3 shows an example of the RIP configuration after you use the version command to set RIPv2 in ROUTER RIP mode. After you set the version command in ROUTER RIP mode, the interface (TenGigabitEthernet 0/0) participating in the RIP process is also set to send and receive RIPv2. Set the RIP version(s) sent out on that interface. To configure an interface to receive or send both versions of RIP, include 1 and 2 in the command syntax.
