Chapter 8 Rack Mounting the HP NetServer WARNING To prevent the rack from rolling while you mount the HP NetServer, ensure the leveler screws on the rack's lower four corners are in firm contact with the floor. 3. With the help of at least one other person, lift the HP NetServer by its four handles off the floor or pallet. 4. Move the HP NetServer between the extended slide members to position the slides underneath the HP NetServer's handles on each side. See Figure 8-8. 1. Move NetServer onto slides. 2. Rack Mounting the HP NetServer

WARNING
To prevent the rack from rolling while you mount the HP
NetServer, ensure the leveler screws on the rack’s lower four
corners are in firm contact with the floor.

With the help of at least one other person, lift the HP NetServer by its four
handles off the floor or pallet.
4.
Move the HP NetServer between the extended slide members to position
the slides underneath the HP NetServer’s handles on each side.
See Figure 8-8.
Handles
1. Move NetServer
onto slides.
2. Fasten slides to
NetServer with screws
(four screws per slide).
