Use a Torx® T-25 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the HP NetServer's flanges to the rack front columns. CAUTION To prevent damage to cables, or a disruption in service due to a disconnection of cables, check for short cables at the rear of HP NetServer and disconnect before proceeding. 7. Pull the HP NetServer out from the rack on its slides. See Figure 3-2. 8. Remove the two T-15 Torx® screws on the top cover, near the front of the chassis. See Figure 3-3. 9. Slide the top cover to the rear approximately ½ inch. See Figure 3-3. 30

Use a Torx
®
T-25 screwdriver to remove the screws holding the HP
NetServer’s flanges to the rack front columns.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to cables, or a disruption in service due to
a disconnection of cables, check for short cables at the rear of
HP NetServer and disconnect before proceeding.
7.
Pull the HP NetServer out from the rack on its slides. See Figure 3-2.
8.
Remove the two T-15 Torx
®
screws on the top cover, near the front of the
chassis. See Figure 3-3.
9.
Slide the top cover to the rear approximately ½ inch.
