Attaching the Cable Management Arm The Cable Management Arm for the HP NetServer LXr 8500 can only be mounted on HP Systems racks. The HP NetServer's Cable Management Arm allows the cables, including the power cord, to move in and out with the HP NetServer chassis without being accidentally disconnected. See Figure 8-11. WARNING Before sliding the HP NetServer out of the rack, ensure the anti-tip foot is still extended from the front of the rack. A tip-over hazard exists, so never slide more than one component out of the rack at a time. 1. Ensure the HP NetServer LXr 8500 is pushed all the way into the rack. 2. At the rear of the HP NetServer, place rack nuts on the left column in the 13th and 18th holes above the baseline of the HP NetServer. See Figure 8-11. Attaching the Cable Management Arm
The Cable Management Arm for the HP NetServer LXr 8500 can only be
mounted on HP Systems racks. The HP NetServer’s Cable Management Arm
allows the cables, including the power cord, to move in and out with the HP
NetServer chassis without being accidentally disconnected. See Figure 8-11.
WARNING
Before sliding the HP NetServer out of the rack, ensure the
anti-tip foot is still extended from the front of the rack. A
tip-over hazard exists, so never slide more than one
component out of the rack at a time.

Ensure the HP NetServer LXr 8500 is pushed all the way into the rack.
2.
At the rear of the HP NetServer, place rack nuts on the left column in the
