Press down firmly with both thumbs on the DIMM's edges to ensure it goes into the slot. The retaining clips grasp the DIMM automatically if it is inserted properly. CAUTION Do not rock the SDRAM DIMM into place, but apply firm and even pressure. If a gap exists between the retaining clips and the DIMM module, remove the DIMM and repeat steps 15-19. 20. If necessary, repeat Steps 12-19 to install all remaining DIMMs for the desired memory configuration, including the second memory board. NOTE If using Dual memory boards, ensure you have installed identical DIMM(s) in the same DIMM slots on the both memory boards, before re-installing the memory boards into the HP NetServer and restoring it to normal operation. 56
