Changing the Boot Priority of Internal Devices You can change the boot priority of the HP NetServer's internal mass storage devices, such as the CD-ROM, the flexible disk drive (or other removable device), and the hard drives connected to the HP NetServer's internal SCSI. To change the boot priority, refer to the following procedure. NOTE The HP NetServer LXr 8500 provides an additional feature or subset of boot priority that allows flexibility in designating which hard drive will be used as the system boot device. This feature is called Multi-boot and is set to Enabled by default and is also configured through the Setup Utility (BIOS). Refer to Information Assistant on the HP NetServer Online Documentation CD-ROM under Configure for more information. 1. Use the right-arrow or left-arrow key to select Boot from the Setup menu. You can change the boot priority of the HP NetServer’s internal mass storage
