Chapter 10 Configuring the HP NetServer 2. Once in the utility, press the F9 key. A dialog box appears with this message: Load default configuration now? 3. Choose Yes from the dialog box. 4. Use the right-arrow or left-arrow key to go to the Advanced menu. 5. Once there, use the down-arrow key to move to the Reset Configuration Data field. 6. Then, choose Yes. 7. Use the right-arrow or left-arrow key to go to the HP NetServer menu. 8. Once there, use the down-arrow key to go to the Server Processor Retest field. 9. Once there, choose Yes. 10. Press F10 to save the configuration changes and exit. The HP NetServer reboots. SCSI Configuration Utility The HP NetServer uses the Symbios Configuration Utility as its SCSI Configuration Utility. If you need to verify or modify SCSI host adapter settings, low-level format SCSI disks, or verify SCSI disk media, run the Symbios Configuration Utility as follows: 1. Turn on or reboot your system. 2. During system start-up or reset, when the following message appears, press the [CTRL] and [C] keys at the same time. Press [Ctrl] [C] to start Symbios Configuration Utility 3. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor, press [Enter] to select an option, and press [Esc] to exit. 4. To change adapter settings: ◊ Select an adapter from the list in the main menu. ◊ Select Adapter Setup. 126
