Error Codes and Messages This section provides the error codes and messages occurring during POST (Power-On Self Test) and normal operation. The error codes and messages appear on the front control panel's LCD display. l POST Codes - The POST (Power-On Self-Test) codes occur during POST diagnostics and will display a coded error message if an error condition is encountered during the boot process. These codes will also appear on the display monitor, provided it and the supporting circuitry are functioning. l Error Messages - The error messages occur during normal operation. If you get an error message, refer to Table 12-2 later in this chapter. You may also use the following utility to find the error conditions. ◊ Run the Event Log Report Utility.
