Chapter 12 Troubleshooting diskettes for the following utilities: BIOS Update, NOS Drivers, and DiagTools. CAUTION Replace the top cover before operating the HP NetServer, even for a short time. Otherwise, overheating can damage chips, boards, and mass storage devices. However, you can safely remove the PCI access panel while the NetServer is running to remove and replace PCI Hot Plug boards. For any other service activity requiring access to the processor baseboard or I/O baseboard, power down the HP NetServer and observe all safety precautions. • For problems with the network interface controller board (NIC), refer to its documentation in Information Assistant. • For problems with the disk array controller board, if you have one, refer to the HP NetRAID Series User Guide for HP NetRAID and HP NetRAID-1 in Information Assistant. • For problems with HP TopTools, refer to the HP TopTools Administrator Guide on the HP Web Site at: http://www.hp.com/toptools • For general information on management products, refer to http://www.hp.com/go/netserver_mgmt and search for "management."
