Chapter 8 Rack Mounting the HP NetServer The HP NetServer's handles will support the HP NetServer on the slides, temporarily. 6. Adjust the HP NetServer's position on the slides to line up the mounting holes on the each side of the chassis with the screw holes in the slide members. 7. Insert the screws (8) into the slides'holes to secure the chassis to the slides. 8. Use a Torx®T-20 driver to remove the screws holding the handles to the HP NetServer. See Figure 8-9. 9. Take the handles off the HP NetServer and store the handles and screws in a convenient place. The handles are re-attached when removing the HP NetServer from the rack. Rack Mounting the HP NetServer

The HP NetServer’s handles will support the HP NetServer on the slides,
temporarily.

Adjust the HP NetServer’s position on the slides to line up the mounting
holes on the each side of the chassis with the screw holes in the slide
members.

Insert the screws (8) into the slides’ holes to secure the chassis to the slides.

Use a Torx
®
T-20 driver to remove the screws holding the handles to the
HP NetServer. See Figure 8-9.
9.
Take the handles off the HP NetServer and store the handles and screws in
a convenient place.
The handles are re-attached when removing the HP NetServer from the
rack. If transporting the HP NetServer, always package it with the handles
attached.
